Grenier grew up in the Lyon youth academy and is a creative midfielder who can also play behind the strikers.
Last season he played 41 games in all competition for Lyon, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists.
Grenier was in France’s World Cup squad going to Brazil, but was forced out by injury.
