The Juventus” data-scaytid=”5″>ex-Juventus boss has replaced Cesare Prandelli at the helm of the Nazionale, following their poor showing at this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
“Conte as CT? For him it’s the results that do the talking,” Tommasi, who is currently President of the Italian Professional Footballers’ Association, told reporters this afternoon.
“For years, the Juve block has been a pillar of our national team. I think that he is a choice that could bear excellent fruit.”
Conte is due to be formally presented as the new CT at a Press conference in Rome tomorrow.
