Inter have decided to remove Rodrigo Palacio from their Europa League squad, replacing him with Zdravko Kuzmanovic.
The Argentina international has only recently returned to Nerazzurri training, following his country’s run to the final of this summer’s World Cup.
“After a consultation between the technical staff and medical staff, at which Rodrigo Palacio was present, it was decided to take advantage of the possibility, in line with the Europa League rules, to make a change to the list of 25 players given on August 11,” a statement on Inter’s website reads.
“Therefore, the Argentine forward will be substituted by Zdravko Kuzmanovic for reasons related to his physical condition.”
