The 45-year-old was announced last week as having reached an agreement with newly-elected Italian Football Federation President Carlo Tavecchio to come in as Cesare Prandelli’s replacement.

Yesterday the FIGC confirmed that the deal between the parties was complete and this morning the Coach is ratifying that deal with a signature.

This formality will complete his appointment and be followed at 10.30am UK time with his official presentation to the media as CT, in Rome.

Conte is signing a two-year contract, co-funded by national team sponsors Puma, worth over €4m-a-year and with bonuses in place for qualification to Euro 2016, improving Italy’s FIFA World Ranking by five or more positions and reaching the final of Euro 2016.

The former Juventus Coach’s presentation is being streamed live on YouTube.
