Milan’s Daniele Bonera says every Rossoneri player wants to redeem themselves after last season’s poor showing.

The San Siro giants stuttered to an eighth place Serie A finish last term, a campaign that also saw the sackings of both Max Allegri and Clarence Seedorf as Coaches.

“We need to avoid making certain errors, but we are on the right track,” Bonera said to Milan Channel when questioned about the club’s pre-season preparations.

“We need to work and improve both in the defensive and offensive phases. The mood is good in the group, we need to ensure we are ready for the first League match.

“We have a precise idea of how to play, starting with the ball from the back. We have improved a lot in our management of the ball.

“I think it will still need a bit of time but in the next two weeks we will work hard to go into the match against Lazio ready.

“We all want to redeem ourselves for last season. Each and every one of us wants to redeem a dark season like the last one.”
