Raul Albiol believes “from what we saw tonight Napoli have a very good chance” of eliminating Athletic Bilbao.
The first leg of this Champions League play-off ended 1-1, meaning it all goes down to the San Mames next week.
“It’s a difficult stadium, we knew from the start it would be played over 180 minutes,” the Spanish defender told Sky Sport Italia.
“We wanted to win tonight, got a draw, and have to remember there are another 90 minutes to go.
“We have to score a goal in Bilbao and I’d say what we saw tonight suggests we’ve got a very good chance of going forward.”
Gonzalo Higuain was on target, but seemed irritated after the final whistle.
“It’s a normal reaction, as we wanted to win tonight. He scored a wonderful goal and we have hope for the second leg in Bilbao.
“We’ll need to work hard and prepare for the final 90 minutes.”
