Swansea City have confirmed the signing of Napoli defender Federico Fernandez for an undisclosed fee.
The Argentine centre-back has been heavily linked with a switch away from the Partenopei for weeks now, with the Premier League outfit thought to be at the head of the queue.
And finally this morning, Gary Monk’s men have revealed that they have captured the 25-year-old, who is likely to join up with his teammates ahead of the match with Burnley this weekend.
Fernandez spent three years at Stadio San Paolo, but fell out of favour under Rafa Benitez, and was deemed surplus to requirements thanks to the arrival of Kalidou Koulibaly.
