Federico Fernandez says it is a dream to have the chance to play Premier League football after leaving Napoli for Swansea.
The Argentine has joined the Welsh club on a four-year contract and today spoke to the media for the first time as a Swans player.
“Playing in the Premier League has always been my dream, I need to thank Swansea for having given me this chance,” Fernandez told reporters.
“I spoke at length with Michu, who played a lot in Wales, and he spoke well about the team. The Spaniards Jordi Amat and Alvaro Vazquez, who are dear friends, also helped me in this decision.
“They told me that you live well here. I am ready to begin this new adventure.”
