As Mario Balotelli edges towards the exit, Milan are reportedly restarting talks with Porto for Jackson Martinez.
The Rossoneri were one of a number of clubs linked with Martinez earlier this summer, only for his recent renewal with Porto and a high release clause seemingly putting speculation to an end.
However, amid continued reports that the Diavolo are close to agreeing to sell striker Balotelli to Liverpool, indications are that their primary replacement would be the Colombia international.
Sky Sport 24 are leading assertions that the club have initiated contact once more with Porto over the possibility of a deal for the 27-year-old.
One solution the Rossoneri are apparently considering to be able to afford a deal for the forward would be in the form of an initial loan for the coming season.
Ready to pay €4m for this, Milan are apparently prepared to then pay out a further €21m to €22m over the next three years.
