Fredy Guarin is reportedly open to a move to Zenit St Petersburg, but the Inter man is also seen as still waiting for other offers.
The Colombia international is once more being increasingly linked with an exit from San Siro this summer and yesterday it was reported that his agent, having already held talks with the Nerazzurri, met with an intermediary from Zenit.
Whilst it is understood that he turned down a move to Russia just a few weeks ago, Guarin is today described in reports are open to the possibility of switching out to Andre Villas-Boas’ team.
Zenit are also seen as holding a further advantage in negotiations, as they are apparently open to meeting Inter’s asking price of €16m.
However, whilst Guarin is ready to consider Zenit, he is also reported as willing to delay any possible deal, out of the hope that rumoured interest from other countries, and in particular the Premier League, develops into something more concrete.
Manchester United have been listed in some reports through the summer as considering a move for the 28-year-old, who in January saw a switch out to Juventus collapse at the last moment.
