Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has wished Mario Balotelli well as he prepares to complete a move to Liverpool.
The Portuguese famously once described the controversial forward as ‘unmanageable’ while the pair were together at Inter, with the 24-year-old then sold to Manchester City.
However, speaking at a Press conference today, the two-time Champions League winning tactician said he feels no differently towards Balotelli than he does towards any of the other players he has previously coached.
“He is a Milan player who is signing for Liverpool, or maybe he is already a Liverpool player,” Mourinho told the gathered journalists.
“The only thing I can say is that I always wish my ex-players the best and Mario is no different.”
