Napoli could be in line for continued talks over three midfield targets, as it is suggested a deal has been agreed for Lucas Leiva.
The Liverpool central midfielder has been one of a number of players in his position linked to the Vesuviani this summer.
The Gazzetta dello Sport today report that in fact Napoli have an agreement with the Reds already reached, to pay €1.8m for an initial season-long loan, with a purchase option at its conclusion set at €10m.
The pink paper also reiterates that negotiations with Espanyol for David Lopez could restart as early as tomorrow, whilst talks with Tottenham for a price on Sandro are also still in progress, with Spurs even set to lower an initial €15m valuation to €10m.
