'Hopefully our efforts are appreciated'

Claudio Lotito hopes that Lazio’s transfer market will see him go up in the fans’ estimations.

The Biancocelesti supporters have been unhappy with the club’s owner for some time now, even refusing to attend some games last season due to his stewardship.

But the capital side’s owner has admitted that he is hopeful of making some more friends after their acquisitions this summer.

“I hope that our efforts so far will be appreciated,” he is quoted as saying by ANSA.

“The arrivals of players like De Vrij, Djordevic, Parolo and the contract extension of Candreva rove that we want to return this club to the highest possible level.”
