However, the ex-Valencia man took to Twitter this evening in order to clarify his position.
“Thanks to everyone for your messages, really, BUT I am a Rossonero and I’m not leaving Milan. #ForzaMilan with all due respect for Monaco.”
The defender had already made clear how much he wanted to stay at San Siro after a six-month loan spell by taking a pay cut and shelling out €0.5m to help Milan buy him from Valencia this summer.
