Sinisa Mihajlovic has revealed what Sampdoria’s ambitions are for the upcoming season.
The Bluerchiati start their campaign away to Palermo on Sunday, and the Serbian tactician has insisted that his men are aiming for a top half finish come next May.
“If we improve on what we did last year then I would consider that a success,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“Hopefully we can start without controversy, and then see where we can go.
“I believe that we’ll be stronger than we were last term, so I expect us to finish in the top half of the table.
“Hopefully this will be the year that we see Okaka, Gabbiadini and Eder all explode.
“We’ve also got several young lads who can do really well. After our pre-season matches and the training we’ve done, I’m convinced that we’ll impress.”
