Recent acquisition for Parma Francesco Lodi believes Milan are more dangerous now that they have changed their mentality.

Parma play host to the Rossoneri in Week 2 of Serie A a week on Sunday and their late summer arrival from Catania is fully aware of the dangers they pose.

“We have an important game against Milan, who have reinforced their squad a lot and have a motivated new Coach,” Lodi has told reporters today.

“They're going to be tough because their outlook is now that of a provincial team, they no longer have prima donnas.”

Lodi also had a few things to get off his chest about his own past.

“In Catania I had a great relationship with my teammates and the tifosi, but less so with management, who did not treat me very well.

Naming specifically Vice-President Cosentino, he continued: “He would call me and tell me he wanted me to stay.

“But behind my back he did the opposite, because he kept working to get a player who then arrived, and he did everything he could to get rid of me.

“I kept my mouth shut and I came here, and I couldn't have asked for anything better.

“I still wish the best to my former teammates and to the city of Catania, I hope they get back into Serie A.”
