On from this news agency ANSA is today reporting that three fans were arrested before yesterday’s match, whilst 15 more were detained later.

It is reported that one Roma fan was arrested during scuffles outside the stadium before kick-off and that two CSKA supporters were arrested when during filtering controls into the stadium they were discovered in possession of knives and firecrackers.

Furthermore, around 15 CSKA supporters were detained by police following scuffles that broke out during the second half of the game, which, along with flares being thrown at stewards, saw the brief interruption of play.

Their situation, which is apparently based on the assault of a steward, is said to be ‘under review’.
