“I think that with €20m I’d rather buy my friend Ciro. Borussia Dortmund are just perfect for him,” Verratti replied.
Talking real football, the Azzurri man also said that he is looking forward to next week’s clash against Barcelona in the Champions League.
“I think that Leo Messi is the strongest in history, maybe at the same level as Diego Maradona. Two years ago he changed the game against us in a matter of 30 minutes.
“It’s impossible to mark him – he knows where he needs to get the ball, he is very intelligent and very fast. At the moment, he is the strongest player in the world.”
