The winger’s form since his late summer move to the Rossoneri has earned him a call-up to Antonio Conte’s squad for Euro 2016 qualifiers this month.

Upon arriving in Florence ahead of training, the 25-year-old spoke with reporters.

“I’m happy for the call-up to the national team, we have started well and I am really happy to be here,” Bonaventura has told Sky Sport 24 this morning.

“I will try to do my best, so far everything is going well and I have to continue like this.

“How have I found it at Milan? They are a great team with great players, so many are new, also I have just arrived.

“We have to work much more to get to know each other better and to try to do better, because I am convinced that we can still improve.”
