Manolo Gabbiadini is behind Sampdoria’s current third place in Serie A, but it’s reported Atletico Madrid are offering €11m.

The 22-year-old striker has scored four goals in five games this season between League and Coppa Italia.

According to Spanish site Fichajes.net, Atletico Madrid are lining up a bid worth €11m for Gabbiadini.

It is certainly not the first time Atleti have been linked with the player, as they regularly sent scouts to view him last season.

The new claims suggest Coach Diego Simeone is determined to bring in the ex-Atalanta and Bologna man.

However, any deal would have to involve Juventus” data-scaytid=”17″>Juventus too.

The Bianconeri sold Gabbiadini to Sampdoria in July 2013 for €11m, but with a clause allowing them to buy back 50 per cent of his contract for €5.5m.

That clause was renewed in June 2014, so to all intents and purposes Samp cannot sell Gabbiadini without getting permission from Juventus.
