Genoa Coach Gian Piero Gasperini is against the introduction of video replays in Serie A. “We must learn to put up with mistakes.”

There are increasing calls for technology in football and FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio formally asked FIFA to use Serie A as a guinea pig for video replays from next season.

“I am only in favour of this in isolated cases, as I fear it can create chaos,” Gasperini told Sky Sport Italia.

“We must learn to put up with mistakes from referees, because it is part of this sport. In general, therefore, I am against the use of video replays.”

Gasperini was asked which player he’d like to sign and chose Juventus” data-scaytid=”18″>Juventus winger Stephan Lichtsteiner.

“However, our job at Genoa is to help young players grow. When they make the step up to bigger clubs, it means we have done our work well and is very satisfying to see.”
