Seydou Keita warned Bayern Munich and Manchester City that Roma “are no push-overs” in the Champions League.

The midfielder spoke to FIFA.com about their current campaign in Serie A and Europe.

“The club had a great 2013-14 season, and I think we can do at least as well this season,” said Keita.

“Roma have fantastic fans. We have a very good squad, and the players know each other well. Our Coach Rudi Garcia makes us play in an offensive way and that is an attractive way to play football.”

The Giallorossi have also impressed on the continent, beating CSKA Moscow 5-1 before a 1-1 draw at Manchester City.

“When the draw was made, everyone said that Munich and Manchester would be the clubs to progress, but with four points from our opening two games, we have shown that we are no push-overs.”

Keita arrived in Italy this summer as a free agent from Valencia following an experience in China.

“I do not know how much longer I’ll play, but as long as the motivation and desire are there, I will continue.”
