Roberto Donadoni admits Parma are “broken” after a fifth consecutive defeat to Sassuolo.

The 3-1 result on home turf matches their worst ever run of Serie A results and leaves them bottom of the table.

“Tonight we made it too easy for Sassuolo, but I did see the desire to work hard and run,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“This is one of the first games in which I’ve seen Antonio Cassano run and battle harder than the others. We cannot afford errors at the moment and pay a heavy price for them, above all psychologically.

“It is a problem we need to resolve quickly, shaking off all the things that are hurting us. I can’t say what more we can do.

“Ironically, we conceded the second goal because Sassuolo players went for the ball with more determination and we were more worried about making a mistake. We’d studied this set-play scenario over and over again.

“Has something broken at Parma? That’s obvious, as we lost seven times in eight rounds, so there’s little reason to smile. We can’t do anything more than work hard and hope to emerge from this moment somehow.”
