Roma Coach Rudi Garcia says that he has a number of options for the Giallorossi’s game with Cesena, as players start to come back from injury.

The capital club are fighting in Serie A and the Champions League, but their Coach believes playing on two fronts is a good thing, especially with players now beginning to return.

“It’s nice to play a lot of games,” Garcia insisted in his Press conference ahead of facing Cesena tomorrow in the League.

“The players prefer to play every three days because they train less, and spend more time just recovering.

“The good news is that I’ll have more players to choose from. Keita and Manolas have returned to training and will be fresher.

“Keita is not 100 per cent, as he hasn’t been back in training for long. He could start tomorrow, but if possible I’d prefer not to keep him on the pitch for 90 minutes to keep him fresh for the Napoli game.

“As for Mattia [Destro], he’s fine, he’s ready to play. He didn’t train yesterday, but today he trained as normal.

“He’s ready to play, and we know that in Mattia we have a real penalty box player.

“In some games it’s better to have quicker players, or players who are better in possession like Totti, but they [Destro and Totti] can also play together.

“The attack – Borriello aside – always gives me selection headaches. But I like it this way, it means we don’t always have to play the same way.”
