The Partenopei were caught at the top of Group I by Young Boys and Sparta Prague thanks to a surprise 2-0 defeat in Berne.

That result was followed by a violent protest from some ultras, who hurled objects and abuse at the team bus.

They have since picked up the pace considerably in Serie A and beat Roma 2-0 at the weekend, but need to improve their Europea League form fast.

Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens have tended to interchange, but they start together with Jonathan de Guzman supporting Duvan Zapata.

There are also big changes in the back four, including Paulo Henrique in the centre and the return of Giandomenico Mesto.
