Carlos Tevez could be handed a role behind the strikers should Massimiliano Allegri stick with his 4-3-1-2 system for the visit of Parma.

The Bianconeri have won three League titles in a row playing almost exclusively with a 3-5-2 system, but poor results in Europe and a spate of injuries led to Allegri switching formations for the win over Olympiacos.

Now the Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that the Juventus Coach was so impressed with how his side played under the system, it will be retained when the Old Lady entertain Parma on Sunday.

Now the Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that the Juventus Coach was so impressed with how his side played under the system, it will be retained when the Old Lady entertain Parma on Sunday.

With Arturo Vidal suspended, there would be a gap in the trequartista position, and the Gazzetta report that Tevez or Kingsley Coman will be asked to occupy the role.

According to the newspaper, Allegri believes that with the No 10 already comfortable playing outside of the box, and willing to press high up the field, he will be perfectly suited to playing behind a front two.

The Milan-based daily also speculates that young Frenchman Coman could be handed a starting spot, with the former Paris Saint-Germain player apparently impressing the Coach enough this season despite limited game time.

The Corriere dello Sport is confident that Tevez will be handed the playmaker role, with a Spanish forward line of Alvaro Morata and Fernando Llorente ahead of him, while Tuttosport believes Tevez will start alongside Llorente, with Roberto Pereyra in the hole.

With Vidal’s suspension, the midfield will comprise Claudio Marchisio, Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba, while a continuing injury crisis in defence will almost certainly see a back four of Stephan Lichtsteiner, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Angelo Ogbonna protecting Gianluigi Buffon in goal.

Probable Juventus XI to face Parma: Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini, Ogbonna; Marchisio, Pirlo, Pogba; Tevez; Morata, Llorente
