Parma Coach Roberto Donadoni accused Palermo forward Paulo Dybala of “unsporting behaviour.”

The Ducali were beaten 2-1 in Sicily this afternoon and remain bottom of the Serie A table after 12 defeats in 13 rounds.

“We were not rewarded with a result due to that naïveté and silliness that always seems to cost us dearly,” Donadoni told Rai Sport.

“Felipe was naive to get sent off, although Dybala also drew the card with unsporting behaviour.

“Aside from all that, we should’ve controlled certain situations better and we didn’t have the right cool head to do that.

“How do we emerge from this situation? The answer has not changed: hard work, believing to the end as long as we have the energy to do it.

“Points must be picked up with character, grit, determination and allowing few chances to your opponents. There are players in this squad who are not accustomed to being this low down the table, but then I’m not used to it either.”
