Midfielder Radja Nainggolan is happy with Roma’s state of form after the 4-2 win over Inter and hopeful that Juventus might slip.

The Giallorossi kept the gap to the Bianconeri to three points thanks to Sunday’s victory at home over the Nerazzurri.

“Today [Sunday] we deserved our victory, we gave those goals away but we played a great game,” Nainggolan analysed to Sky Sport Italia afterwards.

“My performance? I work for the team. I'm someone who runs a lot.”

Asked about their direct rivals Juventus, the Belgian said: “We don't feel the pressure, we had to win regardless of their result. Let's hope they slip.”

Nainggolan also seemed relatively unconcerned about the decisive Champions League game against Manchester City.

“That's in two weeks' time, now we must beat Sassuolo, and they are playing well.

“It's going to be another difficult game, but if we play the way we did against Inter, we will win it.”
