Manolo Gabbiadini scored as Sampdoria beat Brescia 2-0 to qualify for the fifth round of the Coppa Italia.

Gabbiadini is on the verge of agreeing a move away from Marassi to join Napoli, but the striker opened the scoring here with a 33rd minute penalty.

A second half strike from Gonzalo Bergessio sealed the victory for the Blucerchiati, who will now travel to San Siro in January to take on Inter.
