Domenico Di Carlo is the new Cesena Coach, the club has confirmed, replacing Pierpaolo Bisoli at Dino Manuzzi.
Bisoli was dismissed this morning after Sunday’s defeat to Atalanta saw the Cavallucci Marini marooned in 19th place in Serie A.

Davide Ballardini was initially expected to be given the job, but after reports emerged that the former Cagliari and Genoa boss had declined the offer, Di Carlo was quickly touted as one of the favourites to fill the vacancy.
The club has confirmed this evening that former Livorno Coach Di Carlo will take the reins in a statement on their official website.
“AC Cesena announces tonight that it has reached an agreement with the Coach Domenico Di Carlo who has signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2015.
“The new staff will be made up of the technical assistant Michele Santoni and fitness coach Lorenzo Riela.
“The goalkeeping coach, Francesco Antonioli, and the team physio, Danilo Chiodi, will remain on the current working staff.
“Di Carlo will be presented to the media tomorrow, Tuesday December 9 at 18.00, in the Press room of Orogel Stadium, or ‘Dino Manuzzi’.”
