Andrea Stramaccioni saw Udinese “lose our heads” in a 2-1 home defeat to Verona.

Antonio Di Natale had put the hosts in front, but a goal either side of the break from Luca Toni and Lazaros Christodoulopoulos turned it all around.

“That goal right on the stroke of half-time changed the game,” Strama told Sky Sport Italia.

“We lost our heads and came out for the second half with the wrong attitude. I thought a draw was a fair result today.”

The defeat was particularly surprising, as Udinese beat Inter 2-1 at San Siro last week.

“Every time we are about to make that step up in quality on home turf, we waste the opportunity. It happened against Genoa and Cesena too.

“It’s a shame, as we seemed to be in control.”
