Roberto Donadoni admits a series of injuries are having a negative impact on his Parma side.

The Ducali sit bottom of Serie A with just six points from 15 games, and the Coach believes that can partly be put down to injuries.

“[Cristobal] Jorquera was just back from [a thigh] injury and suffered a recurrence on Sunday,” Donandoni lamented in his Press conference ahead of tomorrow’s match with Napoli.

“It means he’ll have to have an operation.

“[Cristobal] Jorquera was just back from [a thigh] injury and suffered a recurrence on Sunday,” Donandoni lamented in his Press conference ahead of tomorrow’s match with Napoli.

“It means he’ll have to have an operation.

“It’s annoying, because it will take a while, and it just shows that at the moment nothing is going in our favour.

“Despite not having a definite prognosis, it’s a problem that will keep him out for a long time. It happened with [Gabriel] Paletta, [Mattia] Cassani and [Jonathan] Biabiany.”

Looking ahead to the Napoli game, the former Italy CT did offer some hope that Paletta and Cassani could return to the fold.

“[Paletta] has to increase his playing time drastically. After the training session tomorrow we’ll see, but he’s definitely available.

“Cassani will recover soon, which is very important, our squad needs to have everyone available.”
