Giuseppe Sannino has resigned as Coach of Serie B side Catania just months after doing the same at Watford.

The tactician had gone to Catania two weeks after quitting at Championship side Watford on August 31.

However, he has now handed in his resignation at Catania too, citing the need to “give calm back to the environment around the club.

“I thank the city of Catania, the Rossazzurri fans, the players who were extraordinary, the club, the kit staff, masseurs and all those who work at the Torre del Grifo training ground.”
