The Coach spoke to Spanish newspaper AS ahead of today’s Italian Super Cup clash with Juventus, which kicks off in Doha at 17.30 GMT.
“I am happy with how Callejon has improved, as have many of our players,” said Benitez.
“At the end of the day the secret is hard work, the same as having staff who help you deal with individual players.
