Xherdan Shaqiri reportedly forced his move to Inter by rejecting Liverpool – despite the English side offering a higher transfer fee.
The Swiss international appears to have sealed a €15m move to Inter today, with only the official confirmation yet to emerge. The deal will consist of an initial loan spell, before the Nerazzurri purchase the player outright in the summer.

Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that Liverpool had offered Bayern Munich €20m for the winger, but Shaqiri was so determined to move to Inter he put pressure on the club to accept the Beneamata’s offer.
This made Inter’s bargaining position stronger as Marco Fassone met with Bayern’s hierarchy in Germany today, and appears to have sealed Shaqiri’s move to Serie A.
