“Were we scared towards the end? A little yes, but other than the goals we allowed our opponents practically nothing.
“In my view Fiorentina thoroughly deserved the win, but compliments to Palermo for playing such open and attacking football. That’s rare in Florence.”
The result puts the Tuscans in sixth place, just four points off Lazio in third.
