Mimmo Di Carlo feels Cesena are “unlucky, but will do everything to save this team” after a 3-2 defeat to Torino.

The Sea Horses remain rooted to the foot of the table alongside Parma with nine points – nine adrift of the safety zone.

“Those two goals could’ve taken down any team, yet Cesena fought back and paid for individual errors and incidents that didn’t go our way,” Di Carlo told Rai Sport.

“We played with good passing lines, but as usual we were unlucky. We seem to concede a goal at every opportunity.

“The team is alive and kicking, but gets penalised by every individual mistake. I will do everything I can to save this team and every week could be the turning point.

“It is very difficult to achieve safety, but we must believe and bring a sense of consistency to our results. I expect an important reaction against Parma.”
