There were rumours this morning that the Nerazzurri had moved significantly closer to signing the 22-year-old Dinamo Zagreb midfielder, who played in the World Cup for Croatia.

Now Calciomercato is claiming that an agreement has been reached, with a deal to be officially confirmed as soon as tomorrow.

The website believes that Inter have had an offer of €8m plus bonuses accepted for the player, and Brozovic could fly to Milan with his agent tomorrow to complete the deal, provided there are no last minute hitches.

It’s believed that the excellent relations between the two clubs following the transfer of Mateo Kovacic helped close the deal, though Calciomercato warns that Arsenal could still make a last minute bid.
