Antonio Cassano is a free agent and options include Torino, Bari, Juventus, Inter and Bologna.

The striker terminated his contract with Parma by mutual consent last night after the club failed to pay six months of outstanding wages.

More players could well follow his lead, as warned by captain Alessandro Lucarelli.

Now the question is what does the future hold for FantAntonio? According to Sport Mediaset, the most likely destination is a return to his hometown club Bari.

They are in Serie B and challenging for promotion into the top flight, so he’d be welcomed as a hero.

Bologna are also interested in signing Cassano as they push for a return to Serie A under new Canadian owners.

In the top flight, Torino seem to be leading the pack and would also provide Cassano with Europa League football.

Juventus and Inter could possibly consider the fiery forward.

“My agent suggested I go to America, but I’ll only go to America or Dubai when I am 40 years old and can’t run anymore,” said the 32-year-old.

“Now we’ll see what happens. If nothing happens, then I’ll wait until June. If nothing happens in June either, then I could even stop playing football.”
