Torino have completed the signing of Uruguayan goalkeeper Salvador Ichazo from Danubio as Jean-Francois Gillet joins Catania.

The deal was announced on Tuesday, but the 23-year-old was awaiting a visa to play in Serie A. Ichazo will replace Gillet who has moved to Catania in Serie B.

The Granata have signed the player on an initial loan basis, with the right to make the deal permanent in the summer for a reported €2.5m.

Belgian goalkeeper Gillet has left the club to join second tier side Catania, with the Elefanti confirming that they have signed the player until 2017.
