Milan have doubled down on their protest that Juventus ‘manipulated’ video footage to make Carlos Tevez seem onside.

That goal opened the scoring in last night’s 3-1 result in Turin, but there is confusion over whether Tevez was offside or not.

At first the replays suggested his foot was offside, but then another clip seemed to show he was behind the defender.

That goal opened the scoring in last night’s 3-1 result in Turin, but there is confusion over whether Tevez was offside or not.

At first the replays suggested his foot was offside, but then another clip seemed to show he was behind the defender.

Adriano Galliani protested that Juve were the only club in Serie A who produce and control their own match footage, so made a conscious decision not to show better replays of that moment.

Now the Milan official Twitter account has released the image with a message.

“In your view are the lines produced by Juventus on this replay parallel? We don’t think so.”

There was also a message on the club’s official website.

“Milan do not intend to stir up controversy, but make a clear and precise request.

“At this moment the 10 Serie A games are put together by six Sky directors, three Mediaset directors and one independent director.

“Milan ask that from next season all the directors are independent and do not come from broadcasters who have bought the rights to the Serie A matches.”
