Eusebio Di Francesco appreciated Sassuolo’s attitude against Sampdoria, especially without their three star strikers.

Domenico Berardi, Simone Zaza and Nicola Sansone were all suspended for today’s 1-1 draw at Marassi.

“Aside from the result, what I liked today was the performance. In the first half we were tight and fast, despite the many starters who hadn’t played very much so far this season,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“This side has improved a great deal defensively and we often catch our opponents offside because we stay so tight.

“We will face Fiorentina next week aiming to win, as we always do. The most important thing is our work during the week in training, as our idea of football is to always be attacking.”
