Silvio Berlusconi’s Fininvest company released a statement denying reports of a deal with Thai investors for Milan.

La Repubblica claimed this morning that a mysterious investor from Thailand had agreed to buy 30 per cent of the club for €300m, plus plans to snap up the remaining shares over the next three years.

La Repubblica claimed this morning that a mysterious investor from Thailand had agreed to buy 30 per cent of the club for €300m, plus plans to snap up the remaining shares over the next three years.

“Although various people have shown interest in a partnership with Fininvest relative to Milan, Fininvest categorically deny the existence of concrete negotiations, let alone written pre-contract agreements or ‘decisive meetings’ on the agenda.”
