“The Champions League is a dream.”

Borussia Dortmund notched up a third consecutive Bundesliga victory last night, winning 3-2 away to Stuttgart.

Vidal was not even in the squad for last night’s game and Allegri reacted angrily to reports the pair had an argument.

“Either they are doing this on purpose or I don’t speak properly,” he snapped.

“Vidal had an inflammation and trained separately, so I preferred not to risk him in this game. There was no argument and no request to be left out. He had two good training sessions to prepare for Tuesday.”

Morata was a late substitute and Allegri was scathing about the young Spaniard.

“Alvaro scored against Cesena, but I didn’t like his overall performance, so I kept him out of the starting XI.”
