The Senegalese forward has been playing in Italy for eight years, but his driving licence has still not been updated to the Italian version.
He was stopped while driving at 3am last night and his Porsche Cayenne was confiscated.
This is not the first time Babacar has been in trouble with the police, as in August 2011 he was again told off for driving with a Senegalese licence.
