Milan CEO Adriano Galliani said the game with Fiorentina is “important, but not decisive” for Pippo Inzaghi.

The Coach was on the verge of dismissal over the weekend after a 2-2 draw with Verona, but the club opted to stand by him.

“It was going so well until the 94th minute and 15 seconds, then we conceded the equaliser that was really tough to swallow,” Galliani told reporters at this evening’s charity event.

“We will recover. I think we can qualify for Europe, but I don’t like to talk about the future. We must work to do better than we have done until now.

“With a little bit of luck, we would’ve taken home the victory against Verona.”

Milan’s next fixture is an extremely difficult trip to Fiorentina. Will Inzaghi be on the chopping block with another defeat?
“It is an important game, but it’s not decisive,” replied Galliani.
