Edy Reja claims he saw “positive signs” in another goalless Atalanta draw with Udinese.

Since the Coach replaced Stefano Colantuono, he has overseen just two 0-0 results against Parma and now the Friulani.

“We did well for the first hour, then started to suffer from fatigue,” Reja told Rai Sport.

“There were problems in our defensive movements, but it’s a pity we were unable to score a goal. After the break the intensity levels dropped and then we felt afraid of losing after going down to 10 men.

“There were improvements and positive signs from the game with Parma, so we must continue along this path.”

Atalanta’s next game is against one of Reja’s former clubs, stuttering Napoli.

“We will go to the San Paolo in order to do well, even if we are the underdogs. We hope Rafa Benitez’s squad can get tired from their many tournament commitments!”
