Giorgio Chiellini felt the change of Coach in pre-season “gave Juventus something more” and they’re still going strong.
The defender spoke to Sport Mediaset after a 3-0 Champions League triumph over Borussia Dortmund, 5-1 on aggregate.
“We are very happy with this result. We were always sharp tonight and never lost our way. We suffered in a few moments, but always kept to the game plan.

“Now we await the draw. Clearly there are some teams that are stronger than the others, but it’s also true we have to focus on ourselves.
“We must work to improve further and then we can fight it out with all of them.”
Juve actually seem to have improved in Europe since Max Allegri took over from Antonio Conte.
“The change of Coach gave Juventus something more, because in the first two months of the season we wanted to prove that we were still the best.
“We are grateful to Conte and recognise everything he did here, but we also want to prove to everyone and above all to ourselves that we are a great team.
“The technical project has not finished and needs to continue growing.”
