Reports in the British media claim that Manchester City are looking to sell Inter target Yaya Toure.

Nerazzurri Coach Roberto Mancini has made no secret of his desire to reunite with the Ivorian international at San Siro, and Piero Ausilio is said to have spoken to the English club last night.

Now reports in several British outlets, including the Guardian and the Daily Mail assert that the Citizens are looking to offload the former Barcelona man.

Toure is one of the club’s highest earners on at least €300,000 per week, and after crashing out of the Champions League once again last night, the English champions may be willing to cash in.

The 31-year-old has two years remaining on his contract, so the Guardian believes a fee of €28m would be required to buy the midfielder.

It appears doubtful that the Beneamata would be able to afford such a fee and Toure’s wages, but the newspaper speculates that a sponsor could help with the cost.
