Parma captain Alessandro Lucarelli will reportedly be on the board of creditors in talks with administrators.

The club was declared bankrupt today and placed under administration with Angelo Anedda and Alberto Guoiotto having the lead them through the next stage.

News agency ANSA claims Parma captain Lucarelli will represent the squad with a place on the board of creditors.

The players haven’t received any wages since July 2014, while the most recent any employees have been paid is November 2014.

Lucarelli would consult directly with the administrators to discuss how to proceed in recovering the money owed.

Administrators will also seek new buyers who can get the club back in action.

The Lega Serie A passed a bailout package worth €5m to get Parma to complete the Serie A season, but it depends on them playing all the remaining fixtures.
